Rainbow Youth Alliance is a LGBTQ+ youth organization in Elizabethtown, KY and the Hardin County, KY area that aims to provide lesbian, gay, bi and transgender youth a safe space to meet, socialize, access support, develop skills and confidence through a range of leisure and educational activities and feel empowered to be active members of the group and within their communities. Rainbow Heroes wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.

A Safe Place for Our Youth
Rainbow Youth Alliance knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. After experiencing as parents a child coming out as trangender we understand the struggles and information overload that can be accompanied by intense feelings of pride and love and also the very real feelings of fear and grief. With that being said, we want to start a community based youth group for our LGBTQIA+ children and their families. To provide educational resources, 1-2-1 peer support for our youth, leisure activities within the community, and a place that is surrounded by love and support for our future generation of young people.
